Guided by principles of reduction, beauty, confidence, and joy, I developed initial language concepts that convey the elegance of Blunt products beyond umbrellas, and brought them to life everywhere. From a fresh website to advertising, a covetable limited edition, and reimagined sustainable packaging. KP

Blunt is an iconic, award-winning Aotearoa New Zealand brand. But this love for Blunt was limited to our shores. Looking to enter new global markets and extend into other categories, Blunt needed to shift from umbrella brand to lifestyle brand.

Milk engaged me to help build a global brand platform that united product love and brand love – bringing heart, emotion, and character through rich visual and verbal language. The “Engineering Joy” strategy defines Blunt’s technical innovation, and the joy that connects the brand to its loyal customers at every touchpoint.

The result: a brand people love as much as BLUNT’s human centred products.
